Centers of Innovation Excellence

Oregon’s Centers of Innovation Excellence (CIEs) are public-private partnerships that strengthen the state’s innovation economy. Each center connects entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, and industry leaders to the resources they need to bring new technologies to market and grow competitive sectors.

The CIEs are a cornerstone of Oregon’s 10-Year Innovation Plan. They serve as industry-led hubs that:  Support startups with facilities, mentoring, and technical assistance. Build coalitions across business, research, government, and capital. Advance commercialization of new technologies. Strengthen Oregon’s position in national and global markets Together, the CIEs foster high-wage jobs, attract investment, and expand access to Oregon’s innovation economy.

Each CIE maintains direct lines of contact for businesses, researchers, and partners interested in working together. Reach out to the center in your sector to explore opportunities for collaboration, support, and growth.
